The Town 56822 RiceMaster? rice cooker’s elements immediately begin heating up with the push of a button and remain in hold mode until a user presses the cook button. This cooker can cook 25 Asian cups of rice in 31 minutes, and because its elements sit between the inner and outer wall of the pot, rice cooks quickly and evenly. While cooking, a limit control monitors the temperature, and if it rises too high, the control shuts off the unit to prevent overheating. After the rice absorbs the water, a sensor stops the cook cycle and switches the cooker to holding mode. This Town 56822 commercial rice cooker will remain in holding mode until the cook button is pressed or the machine is turned off. This sturdy rice cooker has reinforced walls and water-resistant controls. Its hinged lid stays attached, while its pot is removable for quick cleanup.
