This T&S 238A self-closing metering cartridge regulates water flow and is adjustable from 10- to 30-second increments. Using a metering cartridge can help prevent water damage and reduce usage. Because this cartridge is compatible with wrist-action faucet styles and stays open for a minimum of 10 seconds, it meets ADA requirements for sink fixtures in public restrooms when properly installed. Designed with a filter washer, this cartridge is made of chrome-plated brass, which is a good material for components that’ll experience repeated movement over time. The chrome plating adds increased resistance to corrosion and scratching.
