The Groen (2)HY-5GF HyperSteam™ convection steamer has an operating temperature of 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Gas-heated steam generators are mounted on the rear, and side-mounted blowers disperse steam throughout the compartments. Reducing sediment buildup, the steam generators are blown down automatically when the unit has been powered off, and ready lights notify users when the compartments are ready for steaming. Magnetic door switches shut off the blower and generator when the door is opened to prevent steam and heat loss.

The cabinet and compartments of the Groen (2)HY-5GF double-stacked convection steamer are made of rust-resistant stainless steel, as are the field-reversible doors that are equipped with strong, continuous hinges. Under each door, trays gather condensate, and a water catch pan separates the compartments. Easing maintenance, the side panels can be removed, and for cleaning, stainless steel support racks are removable. This unit can hold (1) 12-inch by 20-inch by 21/2-inch pans.
