The Forbes Industries 4192-42 stage stairs measure 39 inches wide by 25¹/₂ inches deep by 65¹/₂ inches tall and can be placed along the edge of stages between 16 and 24 inches tall. To promote safe footing, it’s built with two carpeted steps and safety reflectors along the edges of the steps so users can quickly discern where the steps end. Performers and staff can support themselves walking up and down the stairs with the two 42-inch-tall tubular steel guard rails. For consistency, the carpeted treads come in black, and the guard rails are finished in a black powder-epoxy paint.
