Each of two frypots in the Dean 2FPRG50T PowerRunner® floor-model gas fryer holds 50 pounds of oil to prepare common fried foods, such as french fries and chicken. To preserve oil quality throughout the frying process, it’s heated with a thermo-tube heat transfer system that warms a large surface area rather than concentrating energy in small areas. Because it heats and recovers quickly, this fryer fares well in fast-paced kitchen environments. A wide cold zone at the frypots’ bottoms slopes forward to collect sediment that could impact oil taste if left in the cooking area.

A filtration system built into the Dean 2FPRG50T gas fryer’s battery increases filtering frequency. Its gravity-draining mechanism is equipped with a 3-inch drain line that releases oil freely for continuous filtering, and it’s less likely to clog because it uses a 4-GPM pump. To minimize operation lags, it filters a frypot’s oil in 5 minutes and can function while another frypot is in use. Both the filter and unit are furnished with casters that streamline maintenance and cleaning; overall, this stainless steel unit measures 31 inches wide by 30 3/4 inches deep by 45 inches high.
