Designed to hold as much as 250 pounds, the Continental Refrigeration D84GN chef base has four drawers with polished chrome handles that glide smoothly when opening. These drawers can hold 6-inch-deep pans, and each drawer comes with one-piece magnetic gaskets and built-in safety clips. Its electronically controlled refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and an expansion valve system with an automatic, hot gas condensate evaporator. For servicing, the front-sliding condensing unit is convenient to access, while the evaporator is plasticized to protect against corrosion.
