Meant to seamlessly slice cuts of Swiss, pepperjack, and provolone, the Bizerba GSPHDI150-GCB gravity feed slicer comes with a specially grooved blade head designed for slicing cheese. This blade, measuring 13 inches in diameter, is chromium plated and hardened along the edge to a 60-62 Rockwell hardness. This blade can be adjusted to deliver slice thicknesses between 0 to 24 millimeters, which can be adjusted using the front-facing control panel. Its food fence is grooved to ensure all products are held in place during the slicing process. For added assistance during cutting, its carriage is tilted at a 25-degree angle towards the operator, while its main slicing chamber is tilted at 40 degrees to ease sliding products toward the blade. Meant for use on a countertop, it features a 6-foot cord and has a compact size measuring 281/2 inches long by 2212/25 inches wide by 242/3 inches high. To keep the machine durable and easy to clean, it’s primarily constructed of anodized aluminum and features a seamless construction.

To ensure users don’t risk personal injury during operation, the Bizerba GSPHDI150-GCB cheese slicer features a thumb guard measuring 54/5 inches wide. Featuring eight safety interlock systems, it sports a safety light that shines red while the blade is active and green when it’s safe to handle or clean. In a similar fashion, its lift arm is red while its push handle is green, ensuring they aren’t mixed up. To keep its blade in top performance, it comes with a remote sharpener that can attach to the blade using a spring-loaded dial. To ensure speedy and consistent slicing, it features a three speed motor with an automatic drive system, while its servo motor automatically guides product down its track to reduce operator workload.
