This 3M® Cuno HF05MS replacement cartridge reduces particulates, chlorine taste and odor, and inhibits scale. By using a 1.5-gallon-per-minute flow rate, it filters a maximum of 4,800 gallons to improve product taste, odor, and appearance. Using a Sanitary Quick-Change (SQC) design that features an encapsulated exterior, it protects the system from contamination with new bacteria when inserted. The 1-micron rating prevents small particulate from passing through to ensure pristine water quality; users can choose from a variety of medias to cater to water condition needs. It shouldn’t be installed on hot water lines and it must be removed if temperatures drop below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
