The doors self-close to reduce energy loss and the cabinet is insulated with high-density polyurethane to prevent cold air from escaping. This freezer sits on leveling legs that prevent it from tilting on uneven surfaces.

The Kelvinator Commercial KCHGM48F two-section freezer has 49 cubic feet of interior space. Electronic controls enable temperature adjustment from -7.6 to -4 degrees Fahrenheit, and to monitor this number, it has an external temperature display. At the end of the night, the doors can be locked to reduce the risk of theft and tampering. This unit cools with eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and its bottom-mounted condenser is self-contained.
