The Continental 1FXSNHD reach-in freezer features a top-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system operated using digital controls. The controls display the state of the defrost system and internal temperature, while an alarm sounds when the temperature reaches a level that’s too high or too low. R290 hydrocarbona’¬a€a more eco-friendly alternative to traditional refrigerantsa’¬a€is used to remove heat from the unit and create cooler temperatures.

The interior and sides of the Continental 1FXSNHD one-section reach-in are made of aluminum, while the exterior is made of stainless steela’¬a€both materials resist corrosion for long-term use. Polyurethane foam is sandwiched between metal panels and provides additional insulation to help prevent temperature loss. The interior has 26 cubic feet of space and three epoxy-coated shelves to help organize storage. For convenient interior access, this model has two half-height solid doors that enable operators to divide ingredient storage into two smaller sections.
